The classic alpine trekking route. The Tour du Mont Blanc takes you all the way round the magnificent Mont Blanc Massif, the highest peak in western Europe. Hikers are treated to the full spectacle of beautiful alpine scenery - from green valleys, to mountain pastures and high mountain passes. Overnight stays range from quiet alpine villages to high mountain huts, where you can continue to enjoy mountain views over dinner.
The Tour des Combins is the very definition of a hidden gem. With just 7 nights on the standard itinerary, this compact trek comes with spectacular views, icy mountain lakes and cosy hut nights. Amongst some of the highest peaks of the western Alps and just a few valleys over from the Tour du Mont Blanc, it sees a much lower number of hikers. The route takes a clockwise circuit around the Grand Combins Massif - taking in both Switzerland and Italy.
The Walker’s Haute Route takes you from one famous centre of mountaineering to another - from Chamonix, resting in the shadow of Mont Blanc, to Zermatt, nestled beneath the Matterhorn. The route in between takes walkers over a series of dramatic mountain passes and through remote Alpine scenery. Many nights are spent in high mountain refuges, where civilisation feels a million miles away.
Trek through the best mountain scenery the Bernese Oberland has to offer, in this Highlights Inn to Inn Tour.
